Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using StudyGuide Pro (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

StudyGuide Pro publishes study and discussion guides for books. Every guide in the library lets you read Week 1 free. Members can read every guide in the library while their membership is active, download PDFs, and ask us to write guides for books that are not in the library yet. Anyone can buy a single guide outright.

3. Payments, renewals and refunds

Plans and prices

  • Full Library — $79 per year. Every guide in the library, 4 PDF downloads in any 30-day period, and 3 on-request books per year.
  • Month to Month — $25 per month. The same library while your membership is active, 2 PDF downloads in any 30-day period, and 1 on-request book per month.
  • This Guide Only — $29, one time, for one guide.
  • Church Plan — $199 per year for 5 leader seats, plus $29 per additional seat per year. Each seat has the same library access and allowances as a Full Library membership.
  • Extra on-request books — $9 each, beyond the books included in your plan.

All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Automatic renewal

  • Full Library renews automatically each year at the then-current list price (currently $79) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Month to Month renews automatically each month at $25 unless you cancel.
  • Church Plan renews automatically each year at the list price for the number of seats on the plan at renewal.
  • We email you 30 days — and again 14 days — before any annual renewal, with the amount, the date, and a one-click link to cancel.
  • The first-year promotional price ($59 with a live code) applies to the first year only. After that, the list price applies.
  • This Guide Only is a one-time purchase and never renews. Within 60 days of buying a single guide, its price is credited toward a Full Library if you choose to join.

Cancelling and pausing

  • Cancel or pause any time at bookstudyguide.com/manage — no phone call, no forms.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then, and no further charges are made.
  • You may pause a membership for up to 6 months. Time you have paid for is preserved and resumes when the pause ends; we email you a week before it resumes.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we email you and keep your access for 7 days while Stripe retries the card. If it still fails, your membership ends.

Refunds

  • Full Library and Church Plan: a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, as long as you have downloaded 2 or fewer guides.
  • This Guide Only: a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Renewal payments are not refundable except where the law requires it. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid a charge you don’t want; the reminder emails include the link.
  • A refund ends your library access. Guides you had already downloaded remain yours.
  • If we are unable to write a guide you requested, you receive a full refund for that guide (or the request is not counted against your allowance).

4. Your account

Your email address is your account. There is no password: when you want to sign in we email you a link (or a six-digit code) that signs you in on that device for 30 days. Keep your email account secure — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. A single membership covers one leader and the group they lead; sharing a guide with your group by PDF or read-only link is allowed and encouraged. Sharing your sign-in link or reselling access is not.

5. Church Plan seats

The Church Plan admin invites leaders by email, and each invited leader gets a seat with full library access while the plan is in good standing. Admins can add seats at any time (charged pro-rata for the current year) and remove leaders at any time. If the plan is unpaid past the grace period, every seat loses access until it is brought current.

6. Downloads stay yours

Every PDF you download during a membership is yours to keep and to share with your group, even after your membership ends. Online reading of the library requires an active membership. Guides bought as This Guide Only are yours permanently at their web link and as a PDF.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit study guides from the Service beyond your own group.
  • Share sign-in links or use one membership across multiple leaders (use the Church Plan for that).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Service.
  • Make bulk or automated requests.

8. Intellectual Property

Study guides from the Service are provided for your personal and small-group educational use. Guides do not reproduce the original book text verbatim. StudyGuide Pro does not claim ownership of the source books.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any study guide for a particular purpose. Study guides are meant to supplement, not replace, reading the original book.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyGuide Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Service during a period you have paid for, we refund the unused portion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we change prices or renewal terms, the change applies from your next renewal, and your renewal reminder email will say so. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
