2.Psalm 105:17 says that God "sent" Joseph to Egypt ahead of his brothers — even though his brothers' betrayal was sinful. How does Bevere resolve the tension between human sin and divine sovereignty in Joseph's story? What does that mean for your own painful history?
3.Joseph had every human reason to become bitter — betrayed by brothers, falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, forgotten in prison by the cupbearer.
