This final week is your chance to look back at the whole journey — what God has shown you, how you have changed, and what circles you are still standing in.

1.Which chapter or concept from The Circle Maker had the greatest impact on you, and why? How has your understanding of prayer changed since you began this study?

2.At the beginning of the study, you were invited to write down one "impossible" prayer request. Look back at what you wrote.

a.Have you seen any movement — in your circumstances or in your own heart — around that request?

b.Are you still standing in the circle, or have you stepped out? Why?

3.Batterson argues that "the greatest tragedy in life is the prayers that go unanswered because they were never prayed." After thirteen weeks, what prayers are you now praying that you were not praying before? Be specific.

4.The book covers three major dimensions of prayer: Dream Big, Pray Hard, and Think Long. Which of these three was most countercultural to your natural tendencies, and what have you done (or will you do) to grow in that area?

5.Batterson's prayer circles are never just about personal blessing — Honi prayed for a whole generation. Who are the people — family members, neighbors, colleagues, communities — whose names belong in your prayer circles? How will you pray for them consistently going forward?

Lord God, we come to the end of this study with more prayers than we started with — and that is exactly as it should be. You have shown us the legend of Honi, the wrestling of Jacob, the boldness of Elijah, the persistence of the widow, and most of all, the example of your Son, who prayed with every fiber of his being and whose prayers are still being answered in the lives of his people. Make us circle makers. Give us the courage to draw circles around our biggest fears and our boldest dreams, and to stand inside those circles until your answer comes. And when it comes, may we give you all the glory. We ask for immeasurably more than we can imagine — and we trust you with the rest. Amen.
