Discussion Questions
7 questions1.Stormie observes that many of the biggest crises in a marriage trace back to one bad decision made at a critical moment. Can you think of a time — in your own life or in a marriage you've observed — when a single choice had long-lasting consequences? What does that tell you about the stakes of praying for wisdom?
2.James 1:5 says that if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously. Stormie encourages wives to pray this verse over their husbands regularly. What would it mean to be so convinced of this promise that you pray it daily, specifically, and expectantly?
3.Proverbs 3:5–6 calls us to trust God with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. A wife who prays for her husband's choices is practicing this herself — trusting that God can guide him even when she cannot. How does that kind of prayer require faith from the wife, not just the husband?
