We have spent eleven weeks asking hard questions about what it means to follow Jesus. This final week is an invitation to look back, take stock, and decide what you are going to do with what you have seen.

1.When you first picked up this book (or started this study), how would you have answered the question "Are you a fan or a follower?" How would you answer that question now? What has changed, and what still needs to change?

2.Which chapter or idea in the book landed with the most force for you personally? What specific story, illustration, or phrase from Idleman did God use most pointedly in your life during this study?

3.Look back at the ten dimensions of fan-vs-follower that the book explores: completeness, publicity, knowledge vs. intimacy, competing lords, endurance in hard times, obedience, cost, and love of people. Which of those is your strongest area as a follower? Which is your weakest?

4.Idleman calls readers to a specific, concrete decision — not a vague resolution to "try harder" but an actual, named step of surrender or obedience. What is the one concrete decision or action you believe God is asking you to take as a result of this study?

5.Have you shared anything from this book with anyone outside your study group — a friend, a family member, a coworker? If so, what happened? If not, who is one person you could share it with, and what would you say to them?

Lord Jesus, we have spent weeks sitting with a single, searching question: are we fans or followers? We have not always liked the answers. We have seen our half-heartedness, our hidden faith, our competing loves, our selective obedience, and our abstract compassion. But we have also seen you more clearly — the one who thinned the crowd rather than flatter it, who wept at a tomb, who touched lepers, who counted the cost and paid it in full, and who still says with the same voice he used on a Galilean shoreline: "Follow me." We say yes. Not perfectly, not without fear, but genuinely and daily. Lead us forward. Make us followers — not fans — for the rest of our lives. Amen.
