2.Throughout Scripture, name changes accompany identity transformations — Abram to Abraham, Jacob to Israel, Simon to Peter, Saul to Paul. What does it mean theologically that God is interested in our identity — not just our behavior? How does this challenge a purely moralistic reading of Christianity?
