8 questions1.The kingdom established under David and Solomon eventually splits into two — Israel in the north and Judah in the south — and both kingdoms are ultimately conquered and carried into exile. How does this catastrophic outcome make sense in light of the pattern Angie has been tracing throughout the study? What is God doing in allowing this to happen?
2.The prophets are not primarily predictors of the future — they are God's messengers calling his people back to covenant faithfulness. With that in mind, how do you think about the role of the prophets differently? Who in your life plays a similar 'prophetic' role — speaking hard truth in love?
