2.Isaiah 53 describes a servant who bears the sins of others — 'the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.' How does reading this prophecy written centuries before the crucifixion affect your confidence in the Scriptures?
3.Romans 3:21–26 introduces the concept of propitiation — God's wrath against sin being fully absorbed by Christ. Why is it important that the cross addresses both God's justice and God's love, and what goes wrong if we emphasize one at the expense of the other?
